Bruh fix the control. It is just confusing that I have to click on the machine to gather the metal, and half of the time it doesnt work. You either go copy sunflower or you add them into the money pile directly. And the wrench controls like shit too since you cannot even collect the metal despite the different mouse buttons... hell what do I know, its a mess. And a pyro actually managed to push the mower bomb back? After this is done with I will perhaps leave another fairer review. But the art is nice tho. Also happy new year
I'll say right away that the metal mechanics work well, there's just a limit to the metal you can collect (just like in TF2). Yes, the limit is set correctly, but I messed up with the addition... The other mechanics will be fixed and refined. And yes, happy belated New Year)
I did not know about the limit so I beat the game today. Overall very faithful, but only faithful doesnt make a fan game. ETC. You should've listed like corresponding keyboard controls on the UI. And list the avaliable buildings.
I still have no idea what teleporter even do, I thought they were glorified garlics
The game itself is pretty decent but why is the hitbox to upgrade so small and why is it literally the mouth of the turret? and not the entire turret? why does it unequip the wrench every time?? why is it right click????
Well, then: 1) Why is the upgrade hitbox small? This is a technical issue. The hitboxes literally overlap each other, which is why I had to go for this temporary compromise. 2) Why does the wrench keep being removed? Initially, it was meant to make the game more challenging. Later, I realized that it was a bad idea... 3) Why the right mouse button? Because it was more convenient to test the equipment removal mechanic this way. In the end, I would say that this prototype turned out not very good. (I understand that perfectly) But the project will continue to live and develop.
